As the title says, there seems to be an issue specifically with the GOG release, and I'm talking about the classic version where Battle.net is not disabled. Game won't launch and displays "CD required" message instead. Everything seems to work fine in the Blizzard version purchased from the battle.net store.
Maybe there is a simple solution or I just did something wrong? Please let me know if possible.
I also noticed that in the Battle.net version that I managed to run correctly, the game cannot go into full screen mode when you are in the main menu or on Battle.net. Is this intentional or a matter of some settings in the configuration file?

I have this problem too. From v4 version of gog installer classic Diablo with Batlle.net support is no longer working. No matter what cnc-ddraw I use (is it normal or cnc-ddraw_battle.net version). I use Linux Mint with lutris to play, but I think that on Windows it also occurs.
It's important to me because I want to play on battle.net server from gog.
