Create a simple script configuration document

So coming from the world of DSC V2 and now Machine Configuration - there are lots of time when I have used the Script resource in either PSDscResources module or in the PSDesiredStateConfiguration module.

How would I go about doing something like this in DSC v3 - for example a simple script resource could look something like below:-

Script MyScript {
        TestScript = {Test-Path C:\Temp}
        SetScript = {New-Item -ItemType Directory -Path C:\Temp}
        GetScript = { @{ Result = Get-Item C:\Temp}}
   }

Just need some guidance on how to do something basic like above....

Thanks I didn't see that, now let's say I wanted to inject a parameter e.g. To replace the temp in the directory path.

Also in a multi resource configuration is it possible to pass outputs from one resource to another?

I have tried it in the past, but fell back on using environment variables for that (or any other external mechanism where you can fetch the values from).

That what was I was going to try. Will give it a go? Also is there any examples on how to use a class based PS resource I have written? Is that invoked using the Microsoft.DSC/Powershell adapter?

It depends. If you have installed it into one of the PSModulePaths for Windows PowerShell, it should use the Microsoft.Windows/WindowsPowerShell adapter. If you installed it in the PowerShell PSModulePaths, the one you just mentioned will be triggered.
