Hi all, I've been optimizing my site for loadtime, and noticed that the default site header for Casper is an 8K image. This made my site unbearably slow and was very bad for my Pagespeed score. As a fix I replaced it with a downscaled 1K webp variant, which fortunately enough saves a lot of bandwidth and loadtime.
Is it perhaps an idea to replace the default Casper site header image with an CSS gradient? I'm confident that this would save a lot of performance which could benefit SEO.
