Show title of video, at start/end/full video

Hello,
First, thank you for creating this! As is, this does exactly what I've been trying to get going for a month now.
One thought I had that would be amazing, if possible, would be to show the name of the video over the video.

A great option would be to show the text at the start and/or end, or during the full video. (MTV style)
Another option could include a delimiter to split the video name into multiple lines.
IE: Bob Marley & The Wailers-Redemption Song.mp4 would display on the screen as
Bob Marley & The Wailers
Redemption Song

Not sure if this would be possible, but would be amazing if it could be done.

Definitely sounds possible, but I've been focusing on one of my other open-source projects and I just haven't had any time to work on this.
My only issue with this is i don't want to "clutter" the builder menu with hundreds of options. I already have other requests and ideas that add options to the menu. Each option makes it a little harder to test and debug. I'm not rejecting the idea, just one of my hang-ups on some of the more obscure requests.
On another note, it sounds like you're trying to do something illegal by using someone else's work without permission and would advise against that and would also suggest refraining from suggesting that you're doing something illegal in a public setting.

You have to generate an output first. It sounds like you're trying to open the template or something? But you should be able to edit the final HTML file anyway you want. I just started with the autobuilder cause a lot of people kept messing up little things like "'s

Thanks for your help on this. I was using the generated file, but for some reason opening the file in Text Edit on my Mac shows nothing. I opened it on my CodeAnywhere account and got the code.

For anyone else that might want to add this in, or if you decide to do it in the future, the below code adds 4 lines to the bottom left corner throughout the video. I'll probably add in timing at some point so it doesn't show during the full playback, but this gets things started.

Added a div after the video players

Added javascript to split the video files name on " - " and update the div at the switch of the video (line 62 of the generated file)

So I know this is like over a year later - but I'm trying to get this to work and not quite sure where to add these lines of code into the output file.

the JS I assume goes on line 62 as you indicated, but i'm only assuming i'm pushing the existing line 62 ( try { ) down a line
I also can't seem to figure out where to put the div, I'm assuming it's not after the script is closed, because then how would the script update the information?

as a side note - I'm not trying to use this for works I'm not allowed to stream, but for works that i'm allowed to stream as long as proper credit is given (OC Remix and the like) Would love some (very late after the fact) help.

As for the JS, there may have been updates to the main code done by Jared because I don’t have try { I’m my code anywhere, but I have the JS right after nextPlayer.pause();

soooo hey I just 'discovered' this plugin, and in stock form it's working great, aside from some videos just showing a black screen - I'm guessing codec compatibility issues there.

Anyways, 2 years on from this discussion, the extra javascript code from @cjjr82 doesn't seem to work, or most likely I'm putting it in the wrong spot - the .html file generated doesn't contain a nextPlayer.pause(); line, so I tried putting the javascript after the only instance of nextPlayer.load(); but that didn't seem to work.

Lines referenced by @Aestolia no longer correspond to the current codebase it seems.

Any chance, 2 years later, you guys can have a look and maybe update? 😎 If not, that's ok too, as the base plugin works great as it is today 👍

I guess some big ones since when I add the JS after nextPlayer.pause() it actually stops playing music all together.

And the div should be after the video players right?

Got it working: - Added part of the JS on line 123.
Line 122 is const currentVideo = currentMp4Source.getAttribute('src');
noticed it was the same as your first line so just dropped the remaining code after that.

I did update it make the vidDetails[#] start at 1 instead of 0 to avoid the local http and drive info showing up. Just had rename the files to include an extra info part at the start. Same at the end (to get rid of the .mp3 on the last line)
