Problems building on WSL-2

I see a lot of items in this discussion group remain unanswered, is there a better forum for discussions?

I am trying to build this project on WSL-2 using node v16.2.0 (npm v7.13.0) after using the template to clone the code I ran:

 npm run dev

but got:

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

I see we are using @ in our imports bit could not find a webpack config file where is the resolver defined for this build?

Just want to make sure that you we're able to copy the sample env?

Many thanks for responding, much appreciated. I figured that out and it did solve this issue. I'm trying to create a variant of this repo which does not require acf pro or Gravity Forms and which supports other wordpress local development platforms (I'm using Devilbox for our work). Any comments or pointers would be much appreciated. I'm also trying to use node v16.2.0 so I have my work cut out
