Presently every time a new version of Delphi (or FPC) is released details have to be added to the CodeSnip source code and a new release has to be made.

The idea is that CodeSnip will read compiler info from a text config file.

Maybe some earlier compilers may still have to be built in to source?

This won't be implemented in v4.

Deferring for consideration in a later major version.

Since development of CodeSnip 5 has been abandoned, this feature, if it is to appear at all will have to be rolled into CodeSnip 4.

However I think it unlikely this will be done.

Back to the consideration stage then!

Now that CodeSnip Vault is in development, and may eventually become v5, I'm going to defer this for v5 or a later version once again.

So, the deferred-major-v is back!
