Basically the same issue as with Chromium-based browsers, fcitx5 swallows the first paste. So when you copy a password and immediately go to a terminal and issue wl-paste it says "Nothing is copied". I wasn't sure which repo to file this issue to, but it only happens with keepmenu and not other programs (hmm, maybe it only happens with keepmenu because only it has the paste-once feature🤔)

I'm using patched wl-clipboard with the -l 2 flag added (I have no earthly idea why the maintainer doesn't want the flag upstream) and it only pastes once before clearing the clipboard

How about if we just clear the clipboard after 30 seconds instead of using the automatic features in wl-clipboard and xclip?
