I have shorted the pins on dps to ensure the sensor isn't faulty

I have tested this further and it is not a faulty sensor and I understand that I have an intercom which is experimental
I can cause the dps to trigger if I open my unifi access app and open the video feed
repeatable on demand

@dodavies Do you have a DPS sensor or is it just reporting this without anything connected to the DPS ports?

I had one connected NC but removed it and put in a link wire to rule out the sensor.
I will remove the dps sensor and link and try again now and update you

I removed all wires from the dps connection opened access app clicked for video and the HA logbook shows open closed

Can you try this branch and let me know if works for you?

same behaviour as soon as you open the access app and press play on the video feed you get the gate opened event in HA logbook

I also have this same behavior. I also have experimental devices (UA-Gate and intercom). Also using a NC dps.

If I open and close the gate with a remote or via home assistant or unifi access it will read correctly for a few minutes and then will state open. Unifi access does state the dps is closed however.

Just an update on this, I have changed my UA-HUB to a UA-HUB-GATE and im using the branch referenced above and I no longer suffer this issue, I would close but @bluduk01 still has the issue

I also tried out the branch listed above, and as @dodavies noted, it does resolve the issue with a UGT + UA-Intercom.

I would suggest it would be better to discard all messages from the UA-Intercom, UA-G2, and UA-G2-Pro though, as they don't have any ability to open a door on their own, and always require a hub of some kind. Doing so would also resolve #79, and should have no ill-effects on the integration.
