We’ve been hard at work improving the MSSQL extension for VS Code, making it the go-to tool for developers building apps that use Azure SQL, SQL database in Fabric or SQL Server as a backend. Our roadmap is now public, and we’re bringing powerful enhancements to simplify your development workflow.
🎯 What’s New in v1.29.0?
Improved usability by removing SQL editor actions from the Git diff editor.
Enhanced Query Result pane by fixing issues related to copying data while sorting and filtering.
Resolved column filter issues in multiple result set scenarios.
Improved accessibility in Query Plan Visualizer.
Fixed indefinite hangs when connecting to paused Azure SQL Database Serverless databases.
Fixed HTTPS-over-HTTP proxy handling issues.
📢 Public roadmap announcement
In addition to these improvements, we are very happy to announce that we made our Roadmap publicly available! This means you can see what is coming next, tracking ongoing development, and contribute ideas to help shape the future of the extension.
