make-gpio-script
script += util.format("$GPIO -g export %s %s\n\n", gpioPins[i].pin, gpioPins[i].mode);

should be
script += util.format("$GPIO export %s %s\n\n", gpioPins[i].pin, gpioPins[i].mode);
-g not required for export
