Setting battery reserve

A couple of times a day I get the notification "predbat foxess 0 reserve @ 4.0%" and I don't understand why.
My battery does not like being discharged lower than 10% so I have set input_number.predbat_best_soc_keep and input_number.predbat_best_soc_min to 1.4kw which is 10% of my battery capacity. I have also set input_number.predbat_set_reserve_min to 10%. Is this the correct way of doing this?
If so why do I get the notification reserve @ 4.0%?

I don't recognise that message from Predbat, could you try to find it in the predbat log and share the logfile/fragment of the log to see the context.

Setting input_number.predbat_set_reserve_min to 10 is the correct way to set the minimum battery level

If you set best_soc_min, make sure it is definitely higher than the set reserve min. Or you can leave it unset and just manage it on the reserve_min

Thanks I will unset the best_soc_min in that case. Do I still need best_soc_keep set?
I have had a look in the logs and can't find anything directly related to the notification, but few things which are related such as a message that my inverter does not support reserve.

if you set best_soc_keep then it gives an ADVISORY amount of soc to keep in the battery, so you could set this to 20%. Predbat will try to keep this, but it can drop below it. So depends on your personal use, I personally don't set best soc keep or best soc min to use the entire battery range

r.e. the reserve message you are getting, in the apps.yaml template I saw:

has_reserve_soc: False

I wonder if you set this to True whether this would stop the message you are getting and ensure that Predbat sets a minimum SoC level of 10% per the input_number config. It may be being ignored because of this setting?
