A couple of times a day I get the notification "predbat foxess 0 reserve @ 4.0%" and I don't understand why. |

I don't recognise that message from Predbat, could you try to find it in the predbat log and share the logfile/fragment of the log to see the context. Setting input_number.predbat_set_reserve_min to 10 is the correct way to set the minimum battery level If you set best_soc_min, make sure it is definitely higher than the set reserve min. Or you can leave it unset and just manage it on the reserve_min |

if you set best_soc_keep then it gives an ADVISORY amount of soc to keep in the battery, so you could set this to 20%. Predbat will try to keep this, but it can drop below it. So depends on your personal use, I personally don't set best soc keep or best soc min to use the entire battery range
r.e. the reserve message you are getting, in the apps.yaml template I saw:
I wonder if you set this to True whether this would stop the message you are getting and ensure that Predbat sets a minimum SoC level of 10% per the input_number config. It may be being ignored because of this setting?
