Adopt a software license

Hi, i'm relatively new to this field, but in a new project I'm starting, there might be usage of and perhaps contributions to phreeqcrm. Currently Phreeqcrm is published under a creative commons license, however while the CC licenses are generally a good choice for data, for software it is better to have a dedicated software license. This is mainly due to the different nature of software vs other, more static, data as well as how it is used and distributed.
