In the about section of your app you talk about studies and experiments about the MAAS, but you don't actually provide links to any of them.
Please do so that we are able to browse them ourselves.

i'm not knowledgeable about MAAs at all, and i don't have the time to research it either… i figured you could provide these studies yourself.

In other words, you would prefer that someone else googles it for you?

If getting reliable, scientific information was only a google search away, we wouldn't live in such a twisted world ;)
If you don't want to or are unable to provide it yourself, that's fine, someone else could.

Yes, scientific research papers are just a Google search away. Apparently, we live in a twisted world for other reasons. Instead of making excuses, you could have already found what you claim to be looking for.

Sorry if my previous statement felt agressive or sarcastic, i didn't mean to.

Providing scientific research isn't as easy as "finding" it, at least imo. If you are to provide them to an audience, there should be some minimum research done for it, which might include comparing its results to other papers, checking the reliability of its authors, etc…
Now, as i previously said, i'm very new to the concept of mindfulness, i don't know anything about it, the actors talking about it, and don't have much time to research it all. I would not be able to provide meaningful work in this field.

As a user, i thought this test-as-an-app you provided would teach me a bit more about mindfulness, which it does not. I took it upon myself to open an issue and raise this point to you, give more insight on why i think this is important, but this is all the time i'm capable and willing to invest into this matter.

You opened the issue requesting a link to a study that's mentioned in the About section — a link that's just a quick search away. Now, you're excusing yourself by saying you don't have time to research the whole topic of mindfulness. By all means, you are at the wrong place.

The "About the score" section only mentions "studies", without any other information about either who directed them or where they where published. This is not enough to search for them, and deduct which ones exactly this section is refering to. Am i missing something ?

Yes, you missed reading the app's 'About' section before deciding to install it, and you also missed reading the 'About' section of the repository README file before deciding to open issues.

Right, i did miss that ! I guess i didn't read the app's readme in its fullest, but i did read some of it.

So this is the document referenced: Référence : Brown, K.W. & Ryan, R.M. (2003). The benefits of being present : Mindfulness and its role in psychological well-being. ("Les bénéfices d'être présent : Pleine conscience et son rôle dans le bien-être psychologique.") Journal of Personality and Social Psychology ("Journal de la Psychologie Sociale et de la Personnalité"), 84, 822-848.

And here is a link to that document, feel free to provide another source for browsing and downloading it if you see fit:
https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/The-benefits-of-being-present:-mindfulness-and-its-Brown-Ryan/0aa086b84e38c1c8915027c6f99393689bb8ceb6

I had always been referencing the in-app's About section, not the app's description on the store nor its readme, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Which makes a stronger case for my point ! if i was unable to see these references to that study, it's highly probable other users will miss it too.

I certainly hope that other users do pay more attention. The web page that you shared includes a direct link to the full paper. Now it's time that you modify the README and make the paper's title link directly to the PDF.

It's not difficult, and it won’t take more time than you've already invested. It's an opportunity to learn something new and grow. Plus, you'll immortalize yourself by becoming a contributor to this project.

I will say it one last time: i don't and i won't make the time for it.
Several times you had the opportunity to get us both out of this unpleasant situation. I was ready to leave it at my previous message for an information that i had missed, my apologies, but you chose to drag it further on. You've been anything but helpful and courteous in your answers so far, and your late patronizing tone won't incite me into any further conversation or contributions.

Just as I thought, you came back to leave another comment instead of using the same amount of time in a constructive way. And here you go again:
