installed ADB-toolkit on virtual machine, but it doesnt recognize the phones.

I am using kali Linux on the virtual machine and installed the ADB-toolkit on it, the phone is connected to the Linux VM, I can access all the files and data on the phone through Linux VM, but when o open ADB-toolkit, it doesn't detect any phone. it says, "no devices connected". Please help

Check if your phone USB debugging is on or not.
