Documenting a request body as an array?

While I see how to document arrays for responses, I can't figure out how to do the same for a request body. Is this possible with apipie? E.g.,

POST /users
[
    {"username": "user1"},
    {"username": "user2"}
]

This question has been asked before but closed unanswered (#320).

It would probably require a patch to support this properly. First step would be to write a test. If you have time, I can review and release. But I'm afraid, it is unlikely someone else picks up this task for you.
