Using the Vis-viva equation, we can calculate the delta-v required to move between various arbitrary orbits.

  • A view that shows a body, and a craft
  • Craft altitude is displayed
  • Input form with relevant values
    • Altitude
      • Limited to body SOI
    • Velocity
    • Specify celestial body
    • Orbit line is drawn to match the input
      • Handling craft that are not at exact PE/AP
    • Record button stamps the current details
      • Changing these details now will show the difference in delta-v to achieve the new orbit
  • In the end, the user will have a list of delta-v values describing the burns taken to reach the last orbit

This component is planned to be used in the pocket-calculators page
