Lithium lags the game during rain with mod Snow Under Trees #563

Expected Behavior

The game should run at a reasonable pace during any weather.

Actual Behavior

The game starts to lag as soon as any rain starts. I added the TPS graph that shows the moment I turned the rain on using commands.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Install Lithium and Snow Under Trees.
  2. Get into a village where there are a lot of mobs (I don't know if the mobs are required).
  3. Activate command /weather thunder.
  4. The mobs stop moving every few seconds for a long time.

I will join a list of mobs in the other information.

Other Information

Here is a list of all the mods I am using. Disabling either Lithium or Snow Under Trees solves the problem.

Can you check whether there are any foxes running or trying to run towards 0,0 ? I think this is a vanilla issue

I am in a spot where there are absolutely no foxes, so that would surprise me. I don't have any forest biomes near me and I have explored around without seeing foxes.

It is unclear why this is happening. I think this requires running the game with a profiler

Try to disable the "mixin.world.temperature_cache" change from Lithium in the configs.
