editing entries very buggy

hi,
i want to use caldera forms for collecting record reviews for a magazine. my intention is to share the form with our contributors to make them send their reviews in a way i can use for final print layout, plus they upload the cover artworks with the form. there is one editor to collect and edit all entries over the month and export them as an csv file in the end.

so far caldera forms is working perfectly fine – as long as you don’t want to edit the entries. our editor needs to edit and correct the entries and caldera just doesn’t work as we need this.

the entries are not changed when there are

• mandatory fields
• file uploads
• toggle switches
and probably other elements that i didn’t test

another issue, when editing entries of a simple form, e.g. just with text fields, there is no confirmation of success, the edit window just keeps open.

can anybody confirm this problem? or is it just me?
if it isn’t me :) – is there a chance for a bugfix?

The bug referenced below is probably related. It's been open for >4 months, but seems to have gone cold.

I am having the same issue. I have a drop down menu and several others that will not edit? bugfix soon?

This was added to the 1.7.0 milestone.

just wondering if there is any updates to the editing issue..? I have a client who's been trying to edit the entries and not very successful. Thanks. (I took a look at the 1.7.0 and 1.7.3 archived milestones and couldn't find anything regarding this issue..)

It looks like this was punted to the next milestone several times before being un-milestoned. I don't have any inside information, just looking at the notes. Sorry I can't be of any more help; I don't use this plugin anymore.
