Sparql Client freeze when an variable is empty on a query

if you has a sparql query that contains a variable on the SELECT section and this variable is not included on body the result table freeze the workbench.
e.g.

SELECT ?tag ?tagName WHERE {
?s <http://hri.base22.com/ns#tag> ?tag.
            }
