Such as on/off distance, average/worse-case geometric error, and meters per pixel. In addition to updates to tiles.json, there may also be tile-format-specific metadata.

Additional refinement criteria could be stored in tile metadata with new semantics: https://github.com/CesiumGS/3d-tiles/tree/main/specification/Metadata/Semantics
