There is a big disadvantage to using the GUI instead of custom configuration files in /etc/wireguard/ and systemctl, or using the built-in nm-connection-editor in Ubuntu, since you cannot automatically open a VPN connection when you log in.
This feature would be a great usability advantage, and it would also be nice to not get password prompts in Ubuntu every time I activate/deactivate an interface (perhaps there is a way to keep a privileged mode for the app after one request for the user's password).
