Account Authentication / Login issues

If you are having authentication issues with the app, this is typically because our app is unable to create your Minecraft Profile for you. This only happens when your account is new or something on Minecrafts side is being weird.

To help resolve these issues, we're opening up a main issue that'll be pinned to provide debugging steps and a place for feedback.

I can't login, it says something about profile not found

In order:

• Is your account new?
• Have you ever used the Vanilla Launcher
• Have you ever started the game using the Vanilla Launcher
• Are you 100% sure you are using the correct Microsoft account
• Have you tried logging in via the QR code on your phone

If you are using a new account, you must! first login to the vanilla launcher and start the game, this will push you through the account creation process.

It says something request failed

If you are using a VPN, are in a country known for blocking specific websites, or on a restricted network like a Collage, School, University, Dorms, Work place, etc. This may cause issues with the app being able to talk to Mincrosoft. We typically recommend you try a VPN assuming the VPN was not the original cause

When I start the game, I can't see my skin or my account name

This is relatively rare but if this happens, we recommend you logout and log back into your Minecraft account in the app or try and use a mod like OAuth, ReAuth, AuthMe etc

I've tried all the above and I'm still having issue
