We have encountered a rare issue while using Firebird 5.0.1 SuperServer on Windows. Over the past three months, our application has experienced this error three times:
Operating system directive SetFilePointer failed. An attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file.
When this occurs, all database operations become unresponsive, and the only solution we have found is to restart the Firebird service.
Occured 3 times over the past 3 months but on different clients.
Could you provide any insights into what might be causing this issue or what we should gather for more information when the problem appears.
