Possible new features

This is a space for discussing features proposed by users. Feel free to add your thoughts here!

Zoom tools. It’d be really nice if I could change the vertical scale without messing with the horizontal.
Scrolling like any other program. Something like Photoshop’s ability to CTRL-scroll for horizontal would be nice.
Layout tools: Label over lines, font, size, weight, decoration. Color chooser. Line type, weight, endpoint type.
Export to image file types.
Support for AD/BC dates

UI tools:

Ability to deal with open-ended events (no start or end date) explicitly would be nice, too.
