Fedora Atomic & Bazzite
The GoXLR Utility requires files to be placed inside the main system (specifically /etc/udev/rules.d
) to allow for the Utility to be able to communicate with the GoXLR. All packages provided by this repository (and the packages provided by the Arch User Repository) handle this all for you on install to get you up and running quickly.
Fedora Atomic distributions (including Bazzite) do not permit direct installation of RPM files, instead you need to 'overlay' the Utility on top of the installation. Here are some instructions to get you going.
- Download the latest non-SUSE RPM version of the Utility from here
- Install it using
rpm-ostree install <RPM>
(Replacing<RPM>
with the path to the file you downloaded) - Reboot your Machine
Once rebooted, you should be able to start the GoXLR Utility from your applications menu as you would a normal app, and it should immediately pop up the UI configuration.
As always, if you want the app to auto-start on Boot, you can enable it in System -> Utility Settings
