SURF unavailable in OpenCV 2.4.1 #39

The SURF algorithm on which PiTeRs tracking depends is reported as unavailable in OpenCV 2.4.1.

Reported with: Raspberry Pi model B, with Raspbian 7.8, Python 2.7.3, bcm2835-v4l2

Replacing the SURF part. (from comment on issue #40)

What does this mean?

  • SURF is ok and I can close this issue?
  • You are replacing SURF because there is an issue with it?
  • If yes, please clarify the issue, since I cannot reproduce a problem with the published code.
