Use case: how have the most popular technologies of a given category grown in the last N months?
In the traditional reports we show this below the desktop/mobile stats:
On the new category page, we have rows for each technology and a column for adoption stats:
In the adoption cell, we could add a new line with secondary text for the change over time.
The drilldown and comparison pages also have adoption sections:
We could add the current # origins for desktop/mobile to the summary info at the top of the drill down section, and show the delta below it similar to the traditional reports.
One issue is that we don't have a clear way to configure the start of the time range for comparison. The end is assumed to be the latest dataset. We could add start/end date selectors, similar to the traditional reports, or use a fixed time range (eg 2 years) as a default.
