What are you trying to do, and what do you expect to happen?
Restore all the faces of a cube that had removed faces in Per-face UV mode, by turning it into using Box UV mode.
What happens instead?
The removed faces are still transparent in the viewport.

It's just a visual issue as far as I can tell, the json of the geo file looks the same as a copy of the model without the issue. Reopening the model makes it looks right once again.
Changing the cube's UV mode, or the project's default UV mode doesn't change anything, I had to save and reopen the model.
This issue reminds me of #1817, in case they have anything to do with each other.
