PaulStretch as LV2, wow! Much more dynamic, can quickly take a live input on the fly. And improved GUI.

I haven't otherwise dealt with building JUCE and LV2 and such, though I suppose I could figure it out. But having this in KXStudio would be superb.

For reference, I got the VST through Wine to work from https://xenakios.wordpress.com/paulxstretch-plugin/ so that's nice, just native for everyone would be better.
