They explicitly release it as open source but it is not on a repo like github or gitlab. can kxstudio or disthro adopt it?

I am waiting for this to go on archlinux/AUR first in a way that allows offline builds.
Currently the plugin is tricky to build as it does the "modern" approach of vendored dependencies (download everything during build stage). great for original developers, terrible for packagers.
