Hello everyone,

Has anyone here tried using an API to implement AI Q&A functionality in the PyGwalker visualization panel?

I have reviewed the Wiki page for PyGWalker and followed the sample code to try using the Kanaries token in PyGwalker: How to set your Kanaries token in PyGwalker?, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to work successfully.

My Current Setup:

  • Environment: Google Colab

What I’ve Tried:

  • Verified that I followed the steps on the Wiki correctly.
  • Added my API key as instructed.

Error Details:

When I run the sample code, I encounter the following issue: Request failed: Get workspace id error

Additional Notes:

  • I did not find any related issues on the GitHub page.
  • There is a lack of further tutorials related to AI visualization chat in PyGwalker.
  • before I set the api token, I got error---- "kanaries_api_key is not valid. Please set kanaries_api_key first. kanaries token in pygwalker", leading me to believe that it is not a token issue.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or has insight into how to resolve this? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi @MindyZHAOMinzhu, thanks for your feedback.

This may be caused by a bug in kanaries cloud api.

I will contact the related developer to check this issue.
