Hello,
Thanks you for the great work here.
If I understood well for now it is not possible to keep the rotation and scaling transformations when export the 3dgs ?
Does it entails any fundamental technical complexity or is it by choice ?
If not I could be interested to contribute.

Hey - so just some info. The geo node tree+shader and script for view updating came from another guy.

I just made that into a Blender addon. So there's lot I don't understand regarding 3DGS transformations.

The lack of ability to apply rotation and scale is not wanted - just due to limitations right now.

The next update of the addon should maintain 3DGS attributes when imported. And I have played with updating those attributes according to the objects current rotation and scale. But I have no real understanding of making that work.

If you want to help or have any idea that would be great!

Just a heads up @mrcyme - I am updating the addon. And in the new version I have changed some of the Geometry Nodes methods and all 3DGS attributes are maintained on the imported object. So if you have any idea/ways to help it might be worth waiting till I put out the update then having a check.
