Present results per activity in Activity Browser

Hello,
I am using Activity Browser for the first time and am now at a point where I would like to present my results. I have created different activities and would like to present my results in bar graphs. I have understood that I have to do this manually. However, I am wondering if I can see the results for each individual activity? Currently I can only find the total results with specific process contributions. And I don't know where these specific processes come from, for example electricity is present in all of my activities. As an example, I would like to make bar graphs with layers where you can see for example the contribution of transportation, the melting process, raw material extraction and so on.

Hi,

The results in Activity Browser are mostly focused on exploring your results, not necessarily making pretty graphics for reports/papers etc.
You currently can't see the contribution from each process individually as you ask, though you can set a very low cut-off (e.g. 0.001%), which will give many results.

If I understand correctly, you're mostly interested in the foreground results, from that, you may find the First-Tier contributions or the Sankey most useful.

Thank you for your response. I think the FT contributions was helpful, but if I choose to compare impact categories, do they all "convert" to the same unit? For example if I have acidification and GWP, it looks like the graphs and table show them with the same unit? Is this correct?

Thanks a lot for pointing that out. That seems to be a mistake in the generation of the table.

FT contributions with absolute results do not convert the unit, but show the results in the unit of the impact category when comparing impact categories.

This error will be resolved in the next version of Activity Browser, you can subscribe to #1463 if you want to stay updated.

Hi, I am also using the activity browser. I have noticed that while exporting the results from "process contributions"

we are unable to refer which colour code refer to which parameter? I have attached the picture for reference

Hi @panchalrohit1992

That is correct, once the graph gets too big (too many values), they are hidden. As I explain above, Activity Browser, is mostly useful for exploring results. You can best export the data to excel/csv or directly copy the table to your clipboard and make graphs for reporting in other software.

In the future this will be improved, but don't expect this very soon.
