kernel_task CPU usage increase when using touchpad

I am using the latest version of this repo for my XPS 7590 i7, 4k LCD Display.
Overall the system is pretty stable but I realized one issue.
Normally kernel_task is using 5-10% CPU but when we use the touchpad for 3-5 seconds, it jumps to 20-30%.
I am not sure if this is normal or not, if not what can be done to fix this?
