I was going to post this as a reply on the Reddit post, but I noticed that it was archived. This was the next place, I imagined.
The Problem
Basically, I had, for the most part, a carbon copy of the setup on Reddit. After running some updates, when logging in this morning, these new borders appeared.
Theme State
I haven't changed anything in the theme's files myself, not that I can remember anyway. It's also having a small bit of trouble loading the theme now. Also, from what I've been told, KDE hasn't had any recent updates. I'm running on Kubuntu | 19.04.
So Far
When switching to Breeze in Application Style / Window Decoration, the problem dissipates. I've tried setting the option to 'No Border' there, but it doesn't make any observable changes. The problem seems to persist on any window I open as well.
I figured out what was causing this. It was the Nvidia drivers being installed. Purging them with sudo apt-get purge nvidia* solved the problem, as well as some others with font rendering and window management.
