It would be great if we could disable devices on the settings/devices page.
Sometimes there is a device being problematic or in need of repair. This device then sits on the status page, and when we run jobs it delays jobs being ran; sometimes even causing issues.

If a device could be disabled, so it would remove itself from the status page and jobs, it would be helpful.

did you tried the PAUSE feature?
only issue there, it wont gt saved into db, so after a MAD restart(maybe also apply), the pause mode is forgotten

Pausing a device is currently implemented but it it is still eligible for jobs. This is by design to push whatever is needed to the device without rebooting. I think a better solution would be better logic for determining if a job should run against a device.
