Functionalities

1. Fetch from all databases at once

You can simultaneously search in multiple online databases.

Or, you can also search in any one selected database by toggling the combobox besides the search bar.

2. Star Data

Open the Neuro Database Search App and navigate to the section "Star Data" on the left upper side.

This could be a list of data that were marked as your favorite or important. If you haven't marked any data before, then it should be empty.

After searching what you enter in the search bar, browse through the list of data to find which you wish to star. On the left upper side of each box of data, there is a Star icon. This icon represented by a classic star shape, and it is outlined if the item is not already starred. Click on the Star icon. This action results in the icon changing in appearance, turning a solid black to indicate that the data is now 'starred' as your favorite.

Click on the section "Star Data" on the left upper side , you can see the data you have just starred.

If you want to remove a data from your starred list, simply click Star icon again. The icon will revert to its original outlined state, indicating that the item is no longer starred.

3. Reuse Query

Open the search engine. Click on the “query history” button located at the second top of the page.

A list of your past queries are displayed, ordered by date.

Once you locate the desired query, click on it. The search engine will automatically re-run this query and display the results.

Browse through the search results to find the dataset or article you were looking for.

4. Toggle Display Options

Toggle the checkboxes on the left to select which data entries you want to see

5. Open Website

Click the title of the fetched results to open them in their online database
