What happened?

In DuckDB you can set the number of thread with

SET threads = 16

This is particularly powerful for queries that need a full table scan of data stored remotely

SELECT * FROM "s3://path/to/*.parquet" where username = 'Bob'

Running this in sqlalchemy duckdb:///:memory: does not seem to be using multiple threads.
