I need to join the Meteor Packaging organization to publish my wrapper Meteor package.

What about making it like our latest wrappers so not to have a copy of the original repo into your wrapper but simply referring to it as an external source so to be more easy to update it when new releases of the upstream repo will be available?

So, please feel free to prepare a repository following the latest trend as explained here (WIP)

Once you think you're good to go (which means tests pass...) feel free to transfer the ownership of your repository to MeteorPackaging. We'll then organize teams and permissions and eventually publish the package under the twbs namespace.
