The game seems to have an issue with a variable memory bug of sorts, where I get different results depending on if I start fresh from a cold reboot or restart in the core itself. The opening movie for Keio Flying Squadron is a good example of what I'm talking about.
Here's what happens when I try to play the opening movie after a cold reboot.
As you can see, there are two different results. One eventually always crashes in the same spot, while the other heavily slows down at one part but then continues afterwards like normal.
I should also note I did get a far more nasty bug one time where the Keio Flying Squadron 2 opening movie also broke and the bug carried over after a restart. This caused issues like the music to repeatedly cut out and Keio having phantom inputs during the level one demo, but I couldn't replicate it again. So I'm assuming that was just a fluke.
Tested this out on the 11-06-2024 dual RAM build using two 128MB 2.9 RAM modules.
