I can't install plugins - getting the following error at the console even after fresh restart.

pundler install SimpleAuth
21:59:26 [ERROR] [Pundler] Wait for finishing a previous task

seems to be related to performing an update at startup. disabling that might fix it.

Just reload your server whenever that pops up, thats what I do and it works great!

This is happening to me as well. reload does not fix the problem -- setting auto_update.at_startup: false does fix the problem.
