update or set select2 value manually #120

i need to display default specific value in ng2 select 2 but every time it displays the first value.
my code as below.

<select2 [attr.tabindex]=4 [data]="exampleData" [value]=startValue [cssImport]=true (valueChanged)="changed($event)" class="pricelist1">

even if i select bydefault value of startValue 255 it takes first value of the array.
