When L2 or L1 are pressed, the Game Pauses

When I press L2 or L1 buttons, its like if I pressed the Start Button and its making me cant play anything in ps1 emulator in the miyoo mini, please HELP........ THE strange thing it is that the L2 and L1 buttons are actioning hes predetermined actions but at the same time presses Start
