Initializing python interpreter causes error when setting data as tilt series #2203

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

A long python-json related error displays if the python interpreter is initialized too early.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Select the Python Console from View -> Python Console
Initialize the python interpreter, by clicking on it. It should display the Python version on the console.
Load a dataset, click tomography -> Mark Data As Tilt Series
See Error

Desktop (please complete the following information):

Operating system: macOS 11.6
Tomviz version: 1.10

Hardware (please complete the following information):

Device: Macbook Pro
