When SageTV scans a Video directory looking for new files, it will skip over files occasionally and appears to ignore them. This is particularly true if either the filename or the Commend field within it contains extended characters (e.g. vowels used from different languages). Occasionally if I change those to non-extended characters, SageTV may recognize it on a subsequent scan, but not always.
I do a lot of recording of streamed content (via PlayOn for Netflix, Hulu, PBS, Tubi, etc.), then move them into a SageTV Video directory.
