You really aren't providing much information to help you troubleshoot. With that said, you should NOT be using network attached drives with video editors. Create your projects and maintain your source files on the local drive. Use your NAS disk for manual backups.

There was no problem with previous versions of the programme. Why not if I want them to be safe?

Can you please be more specific regarding which previous versions? There is nothing wrong for being safe. It just that it is best to use a location drive vs. NAS. If this was working for you previously, then something has changed on the NAS that is causing an issue.

You still aren't providing any details about what the issue is....error message? behavior? etc?
