if you set default size = "1em" in stead of 24, the icon scales nicely along with surrounding text.

Also, wrapping the 'svg' in a 'span' with style= vertical-align: middle; gives a slightly better visual alignment (without it, icon placement appears a little higher compared to surrounding text).
