Hey, first of all, thanks for the app! It's exactly what I was looking for. I really miss the frog in the Google Weather app, so I’m glad to have found this alternative.

I have a suggestion for improving the app's first-time startup experience. Currently, it directly requests location permission, which might feel a bit abrupt for new users. It would be great if users had the option to either use their current location or manually search for a location. Adding this choice would be a nice touch.

Also, you might want to consider adding a splash screen while the app loads for a smoother, cleaner startup experience.

Again, thanks for the app.

@HomeAsAlways Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it!

I’ve actually had this plan for a while to improve the startup, but I was too lazy to implement it. Now that it’s been requested, I’ll work on it and include it in the next release.
