I think we're almost ready to release 0.22!

There's basically just a couple of PRs with breaking changes I'd like merged before we release; I'll rebase once those are reviewed and merged:

I think there's also quite a few other PRs which could be merged, I will try to review and merge some of those later if I have time.

Optimistically, I've put the release date as tomorrow (Friday), however we can wait a bit if necessary. I do think we should release ASAP so that downstream projects can start building and testing with 3.13!
