Please use github packages, publishing to maven central is hard, however usage is easy !

Github packages just requires you to have a personal access token when you download dependencies !

Plus once you set it up, You can host your private packages on github packages ! (500 mbs for free)

I want to consume from maven central.
As a user I don't really care if publishing to maven central is "hard",
I want the ease of consuming from the central repository, and I want the assurances consuming from their gives.

regarding "hard"
I also develop OSS and regularly publish to maven central, it is not 'hard', it just requires certain, valid/useful, things to be done.
